Can you picture a December day on a green by the Red Sea? Sunshine, a calm sea and a course waiting for you every day.

In winter, Egypt is the closest warm destination. A direct charter takes you from Ljubljana to Hurghada. From there, the hotel is only about 45 minutes away.

Kempinski Soma Bay is not the cheapest choice. But it is a week you will remember. A top hotel with a private beach, two 18 hole courses and everything arranged, from the flight to the last transfer.

What the package includes

Two courses, four green fees

Somabay Golf, Gary Player Course

3 green fees. The course is in Soma Bay and the hotel shuttle takes you there. 18 holes, par 72. Designed by Gary Player.

Madinat Makadi Golf Resort, Championship Course

1 green fee. It is 25 km away, about a 27 minute drive. 18 holes, par 72. Designed by John Sanford. A handicap certificate is required, maximum 36.

The hotel

Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay stands right on the Red Sea shore. Moorish architecture, 325 rooms and suites and 400 metres of private sandy beach. The pool or a walk by the sea in the morning, then golf, and dinner at The View restaurant in the evening. In winter, two of the four pools are heated. Swimming is a pleasure even in December. For active days there is also tennis, squash and a gym.

For those who don't play golf too

The golf is yours, but the day is for both of you. While you play the Gary Player Course, your partner enjoys the private beach, the heated pool or the tennis court. In the evening you meet for dinner at The View and share the impressions of the day.

A non golfer in a double room pays from €1,302 per person. This price does not include green fees or golf equipment transport.

from €1,758 per person in a double room. 7 nights, half board, 4 green fees, flight and transfers.

18 departures from Ljubljana, from 29 November 2026 to 17 April 2027. The lowest price applies to the departures on 13 December, 10 January, 17 January, 24 January, 31 January and 7 February.

Prices are per person in a superior double room. Rooms with a lagoon or sea view and single rooms are also available. We confirm the supplement in the offer.

Not included: visa €35, golf cart (buggy). The optional fuel price guarantee costs €59.
